Being a united 1 nation

That magic word, I always heard it from my teacher when I was in school in the old days. I don't know where is he now, me and my friends always giggled when he said that magic word "Rambut sama Hitam, Hati Lain -Lain" or in English it's Our hairs are all black, but our hearts are different. Yea in the surface we do understand the what is the direct translation of this old Malay idiom, but what is the true meaning?

The meaning is very short and sharp, No matter how we do look the same on the outside, our hair our noses our feets our hands etc etc, but our thoughts are always different!  Whether this malay idiom is referring to specific ethnic or not I'm not sure. But when a concept was brought in by our governments (no matter which coutry in Asia you are in) it took me thinking and remembering back when I was in my school days. There's a lot more to learn from our Malay Idioms.

Is it wrong to give out different opinions nowadays? Our countrymen always want us to get our thoughts together in solving any problems. hmm...The faithfuls always be lauded, but the unfaithfuls are not welcome. Will different opinions that we give always will make us or our countrymen suffer the blows?

Our Countrymen now are much braver to give different opinions publicly. There are opinions which hurts and opinions which are lauded. How will we get united if our words sometimes hurt people? Is the nation's mission to get the coutrymen united will be achieved in this way?

Does the difference was caused by sentiment which has been brought out or was it caused by the person who started it? Are we grownup enough to to receive a suggestions or opinions which is different from ours, without looking at what color is our hair or hand or skin or eyes or how the way we dressed? Are we so obsessed until we cannot tell which opinions which we should take it objectively?

Aku sekadar bertanya sahaja. Terpulang pada citarasa masing-masing samada nak setuju atau tidak. Rambut sama hitam, hati lain-lain.

I am only asking. It depends on your taste buds whether to agree or not. Again the magic word "Rambut sama Hitam, Hati Lain -Lain" or in English it's Our hairs are all black, but our hearts are different.
